Girls Varsity Lacrosse · Jade Vercher Hired as Girls Lacrosse Coach

The Bountiful High School Athletics Administration team has hired the school’s first Girls Lacrosse Head Coach in Jade Vercher.  Girls Lacrosse at Bountiful High School will officially start as a sanctioned sport as part of the UHSAA in the Spring of 2021.  Jade Vercher began playing Lacrosse in Fresno, CA in 2009. Her sophomore year was when the Fresno Unified School District added girl’s lacrosse to athletics. After playing the game for three seasons, Jade was the first female athlete from the Central Valley to be recruited and receive a Division I scholarship to play for San Diego State University. She was a starting defender all four years with the Aztecs, while academically working her way to the Dean’s List by her senior year.  Now as an Aztec Alumni, Jade has been the head coach for a club and a high school team, which she helped build from the ground up. Jade very much looks forward to being the first Head Lacrosse Coach for Bountiful and to wearing red again!
